NO GLOVES REQUIRED AT BOXING DAY FEAST | 4. Eden-Lee Murray, left, Ramon Del Barrio and Shari Lynn shared the camaraderie of Boxing Day Dec. 26 at Murray's Windward Oahu residence. Boxing Day, observed in England and other parts of the British Commonwealth, dates to the time when the gentry would give boxes of leftover Christmas food to their servants and the poor. Murray and her husband, literary agent Roger Jellinek, observe Boxing Day in its modern form by hosting a potluck party in celebration of friends "who enrich our lives with friendship and creative adventures." They provide "Ye Olde Hamme" and ask guests to bring a "dish left over from your Christmas feast that you never want to see again!"
