Food producers to show at store
More than 25 farmers, harvesters, roasters, producers and artisans will accompany their products to Whole Foods Kailua from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Participants include FarmRoof, Waialua Chocolate & Coffee, Ho Farms, Indigenous Soap, Mohala Farms, ‘Nalo Farms, OnoPops and Puna Noni.
At 6 p.m. Feb. 19, the store will screen "The Greenhorns," a documentary about upcoming generations of farmers, at the bar lanai. Call 263-6800.
Learn to cook vegan dishes
Learn to be "babelicious" the vegan and macrobiotic way at a "Hot Dish" cooking class Sunday.

Luau to mark school birthday
Enchanted Lake Elementary School turns 50 this year and will celebrate with a luau on March 16.
The event from 4 to 8 p.m. will include dinner, entertainment and displays of school memorabilia.

Foundation cancels weekend events
The nonprofit Love and Peas Foundation has canceled its trio of charity events on Oahu this weekend.
The group had scheduled a tennis tournament, Kapiolani Park festival and a gala dinner for Feb. 9 and 10, but decided to cancel due to lack of participation.
The events were to benefit the Hawaii island Food Basket.

Mililani welcomes isles’ first PetSmart
PetSmart will open its first Hawaii location with a celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Town Center of Mililani, 95-660 Lanikuhana Ave.
A special “speed dating” event for prospective pet owners and cats and dogs from the Hawaiian Humane Society starts at 8 a.m., with adoptions to begin at
10 a.m. All of the animals will be microchipped, spayed or neutered and vaccinated. The society will bring dogs to the store each weekend for adoption.
The new PetSmart occupies 15,000 square feet and will carry more than 10,000 products for dogs, cats, fish and small pets.
