At first glance it looks as though Glenn Greathouse might be somewhere in the islands. But the superfluous "D" in "shaved ice" gives it away. Greathouse found Kahuna Joe's Hawaiian Shaved Ice while visiting the Kemah, Texas, boardwalk, which overlooks Galveston Bay. Greathouse, who was with friends Paul and Pam Hill of the Houston area, said that while "eating shave ice on the (shop's) lanai overlooking the waterfront, I felt for a moment like I was back in Hawaii."
