Hawaii is home to host its annual Donnis Thompson Invitational after a 14th-place finish at this week’s Bruin Wave Invitational. Senior Ka‘ili Britos led the Rainbow Wahine for the sixth straight tournament, finishing 31st.
The first two rounds of the Thompson Invitational are Tuesday, with the final round Wednesday at Kaneohe Klipper.
There are 16 teams in the field, including ninth-ranked Arizona and Hawaii Hilo.
At the end of the month (March 25-27), the Wahine host the Anuenue Spring Break Classic at Kapalua Bay.
That 18-team tournament features seventh-ranked Washington, with Honolulu’s Cyd Okino, 11th-ranked Stanford, 13th-ranked UCLA, 14th-ranked Arizona State, 15th-ranked UC Davis and Osaka Gakuin from Japan.
Registration forms are out for the 17th annual Miss Hawaii Scholarship Golf Tournament. It will be held May 31 at Pearl Country Club. Early-bird deadline is April 16 and the cost is $450 per three-person team.
