Fatboy’s promotion benefits Kapi‘olani
Throughout this month, Fatboy’s restaurants across the island are allowing customers to balance their eye for value with their sense of generosity.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays through March 31, Fatboy’s locations are allowing customers to set their own prices for menu items. The promotion, a benefit for the Kapi‘olani Health Foundation to rebuild Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, has the chain matching all proceeds and donating the sum to the foundation.
Fatboy’s owner Carroll Ung and his wife, Rariyo, came up with the campaign after their daughter Leah was born at Kapi‘olani and ran into critical health problems shortly after birth. Leah is now healthy, and the family is grateful for the care she received at Kapi‘olani.
Fatboy’s has restaurants in Kailua, Keeaumoku, Waipahu, Hawaii Kai and Pali Golf Course.
