Meet Bill Cosby at free gathering
Legendary actor and comedian Bill Cosby will make a special free public appearance Thursday in advance of his show Saturday night at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.
Fans will be able to meet and interact with Cosby from noon to 2 p.m. at the Blaisdell Center’s main concourse area.
Slate.com writer Aisha Harris noted Cosby’s appearance Tuesday on "Late Show with David Letterman," saying the 75-year-old was "an adept and hilarious guest" who proved "he’s still got it."
The comedian "showed off some of his signature dance moves while explaining the significance of the Harlem Globetrotters’ theme song, ‘Sweet Georgia Brown,’ to Letterman," Harris said.
His latest book, "I Didn’t Ask to Be Born (But I’m Glad I Was)," was a No. 1 best-seller.
Tickets are $45 to $85 for Cosby’s 8 p.m. show on Saturday. Call 800-745-3000 or visit ticketmaster.com.
