'PALACE' PREMIERES EARLY IN HAWAII | 1. Filmmakers Christine Yoo, front, and Derek Draper, right, were the guests of honor at the Hawaii premiere screening of "Wedding Palace," a contemporary Korean-American comedy about an online romance between a young man in California and young woman in Korea, March 14 at the University of Hawaii. Movie supporters Pat Hong, left, son Jeff Hong and husband Tai Hong wore limited-edition T-shirts commemorating the screening. "Wedding Palace" is scheduled to open in theaters next month.

A 'RED' PARTY FOR ST. PATRICK'S DAY | 4. Stylish philanthropist Joanna Sullivan, seated, was the honoree at "Red," a St. Patrick's Day fashion show and fundraiser March 17 at the Pacific Club. The Sullivan ohana was also fashionably represented by Sullivan's daughters, Jenai Wall, left front, and Kitty Wo, standing left, and her granddaughter, Emma Wo. Family friend Dr. Lawrence K.W. Tseu, wearing a green-and-white lei for St. Patrick's Day, was the major sponsor of the event; a portion of the proceeds was donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
