Girls

Sanoe Nakoa, Baldwin softball: She fired a three-hitter and went 3-for-4 against Kamehameha-Maui, then hurled a three-hit shutout against then-unbeaten and third-ranked Lahainaluna in a 1-0 Bears win. Nakoa struck out five and walked none against the Lunas.

Boys

Michael Fisher, Hawaii Baptist volleyball: The 6-foot-4 senior crushed 26 kills in a semifinal win over Van Nuys (Calif.) and tallied 19 in a loss to Punahou in the final of the Hawaii Invitational.
