The Medical Examiner’s office identified the 72-year-old woman  who died Wednesday after being pulled from the waters at Hanauma Bay as Shin Chung-ja, a visitor from Seoul.

An autopsy will be conducted today to determine cause of death.

Emergency Medical Services said Shin’s relative found the victim, who had been snorkeling, about 15 to 20 yards offshore, brought her to shore and alerted lifeguards at about 2 p.m.

Lifeguards began cardiopulmonary resuscitation until paramedics arrived. Paramedics continued CPR and took her by ambulance to a hospital in extremely critical condition.
