Bruno, Bieber and Swift to sing at Billboard Music Awards

NEW YORK >> Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars, shown at right, will hit the stage at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 19. Billboard announced Wednesday that Justin Bieber and R&B singer Miguel will also perform at the awards show. Those acts are finalists for the Milestone Award, a new honor presented to an act that has achieved a landmark on the Billboard charts in the past year.

Other nominees include The Band Perry and Pitbull.

Nominations for other categories haven’t been announced.

Prince will receive the Icon Award at the show, to air from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on ABC.

Online voting is open for the Milestone Award and will be narrowed to three finalists later this month. Visit www.billboard.com to vote.
