The price of University of Hawaii football tickets will remain unchanged from 2012, athletic director Ben Jay said.
Jay had been reviewing the pricing structure as well as the possibility of moving or closing some sections for home games at Aloha Stadium, but said Monday "we’ll have the same prices as last year."
Adult, non-senior single-game base prices ranged from $25 to $50 last year depending upon the opponent and location. Lower prices were charged for senior citizens and high school students and younger.
Adult, non-senior season tickets ranged from $75 to $375 depending upon location and whether a premium seat contribution was required. UH also had a six-game home schedule in 2012.
Jay said UH will look at some single-game promotions as well as the possibility of some two-for-one deals depending on how the schedule lines up.
New and renewal season tickets might not go on sale until after the Mountain West Conference announces its schedule.
"We hope we have the schedule in the next week or two," said conference spokesman Javan Hedlund.
A base schedule model was said to have been in the hands of the conference’s TV partners, CBS and ESPN, last week.
"They have it, they are discussing it and they are trying to figure out which Thursday and Fridays (they want) and those type of things," Hedlund said. "Hopefully, we’ll have it here in the next week or two."
Hawaii opens the season Aug. 29 — a Thursday — against USC at Aloha Stadium and closes its nonconference home schedule against Army on Nov. 30.
