HPU, Chaminade split softball twinbill

Tumamaopavaiai Enos, a senior from Pahoa, homered and drove in four runs as Chaminade beat Hawaii Pacific 9-5 for a split of a Pacific West Conference softball doubleheader Thursday at Central Oahu Regional Park.

In the opener, seniors Caira Pires, Erin Fujita and Celina Garces drove in three runs each as the Sea Warriors rolled in five innings, 14-1.

Chaminade moved to 23-17 overall and 15-9 in the PacWest, while HPU is 22-15 and 12-10.
