    Nanakuli’s Chyanne Koko scattered five hits and struck out four in a 10-0 win over Kauai.

Senior Rachel Carlos drove in six runs as unseeded St. Francis charged into the Division II title game of the DataHouse/HHSAA Softball State Championships with a 14-6 victory over top-seeded Waimea on Thursday at Patsy Mink Field on Maui.

The 9-10 Saints will play No. 2-seeded Nanakuli at 6 p.m. today for the title.

St. Francis clung to a 7-6 lead through five innings, but broke the game open with three runs in the sixth and four in the seventh.

Emma Kawaiaea went 3-for-3 with three RBIs, and Precious Paulo-Meyers homered in support of winner Chyanne Koko, who tossed six shutout innings.
