Colleen Malia Sharkey and Alan Wing-kin Wong were married May 4, 2013, at the Waialae Iki Pavilion in a ceremony officiated by John E. Sharkey Jr.
A reception followed at Kirin Restaurant. A second reception was held May 11 at Golden Palace Seafood Restaurant in Diamond Bar, Calif.
The bride is the daughter of John and Kathy Sharkey of Kahala. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Russian at the University of Hawaii and is finishing her master’s degree in military operational art and science at the U.S. Air Force’s Air University. She is an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration in Santa Barbara and a member of the Air Force Reserves.
The groom is the son of Wah Keung and Jenny Wong of Walnut, Calif. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in emergency manage- ment at Loma Linda University and works as a paramedic in Santa Barbara County.
The couple resides in Lompoc, Calif.

Jeanette Mariko Mawae and Damon Echen Eder exchanged vows Feb. 9, 2013, in a ceremony officiated by Eddie Fountain at the Berry residence in Sandpoint, Idaho. A reception followed at the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch.
The bride is the daughter of Howard and Josie Kruse of Honolulu and Russel and Cathy Mawae of Honolulu. She graduated from Kamehameha Schools and works as a perinatology sonographer at Kaiser Permanente.
The groom is the son of Vickie and Bryan Berry of Sandpoint, and Dennis Eder of Honolulu. He graduated from Nampa High School in Nampa, Idaho, and is the bar manager at Maddog Saloon Waikiki.
The couple resides in Honolulu.
