Amelia Blair Burlingame and Douglas Frederick Briggs were married May 25, 2013, in Osborne Garden at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, N.Y. The wedding was officiated by Christopher Shelley.
A reception followed at The Farm on Adderley in Brooklyn.
The bride, a graduate of Kalaheo High School and Windward Community College, is the daughter of Burl Burlingame and Mary Poole-Burlingame of Kailua. She works as the assistant manager of merchandising at Strand Bookstore in Manhattan and is studying history at Hunter College of the City University of New York.
The groom is the son of June and Frederick Briggs of Solomons Island, Md. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and is the Web department manager at Strand Bookstore.
The couple resides in Brooklyn.

Heather Joy Heong Ching and Elvin Lloyd Arreola Manzano were married June 10, 2012, at Koolau Ballrooms in a ceremony officiated by Shaaroni Wong.
The bride is the daughter of Fred and Sharon Ching of Honolulu. She received her bachelor of science degree in business administration at Boston University. The bride is employed by the state Department of Health as a personnel management specialist.
The groom is the son of Edwin and Melva Manzano of Honolulu. He is a fleet mechanic for the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Facilities Maintenance.
The couple resides in Honolulu.
