THIS WEEK’S SYNOPSES
“Wonderful Mama”
Episodes 5 and 6
Today, 6:30 p.m.: Jum-soon’s trying to win over Shasha, but Shasha is holding firm. He begs her to go back home with him, much to the dismay of the whole family. Hoon-nam finally gets Mr. Wayne to give him one last chance. Oddly enough, it’s thanks to Young-chae. Jang-ho gets more and more frustrated with Da-jung every time he sees how much his mother dislikes her. Bok-hee has had it when the boys come into her room to ask her for money instead of checking in on her welfare.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Although they had a falling out, Hoon-nam and Young-chae go ahead with the show. Her brothers show up at the last minute with girls to model the clothes. Young-chae had made changes to the original designs, and Mr. Wayne loves them. Bok-hee also watches the siblings help each other and decides to give them another chance. She takes them to the mines the next day and puts together her plan to help her children grow up.
“Jang Ok Jung, Living by Love”
Episodes 13 and 14
Monday, 7:45 p.m.: The queen mother sets up a date for the king and his new queen to consummate their marriage. Chi-soo goes to see Min Yoo-joong and offers to fund the Western Party in exchange for Jang Hyun’s head.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Chi-soo asks Min Yoo-joong to arrange a meeting with the king. Ok-jung asks the king if she may bear him a son. The king replies he wouldn’t want anyone else to give him a son.
“All About My Romance”
Episodes 10 and 11
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.:Joon-ha turns cold against Min-young when he finds out she’s dating Soo-young. And Joon-ha’s sudden change in attitude bothers Min-young. Hee-sun gets suspicious of Soo-young and Min-young when she sees Min-young again in front of Soo-young’s place.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Min-young tells Hee-sun that she won’t stand in the way of Joon-ha and her. Hee-sun tells Min-young that it’s Soo-young she likes, not Joon-ha. Soo-young and Min-young take off by themselves during a hiking trip with the other assemblymen.
“Secret of the Birth”
Episodes 7 and 8
Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Kyung-doo realizes Choi Gook is Yi-hyun’s father, not Hae-deum’s kidnapper. Choi Gook asks Kyung-doo to keep his existence a secret. Sun-young asks Yi-hyun for a chance to work.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m: Yi-hyun vaguely remembers the days she lived with Kyung-doo, and realizes it was she who held on to Kyung-doo, not the other way around. Soo-chang asks Yi-hyun who Hong Kyung-doo and Hong Hae-deum are.
