Sea Life Park discount aids Aloha Society

Admission to Family Fun Day at Sea Life Park will be discounted by 50 percent Saturday as the park holds a fundraiser for the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii.

Ticket purchasers who mention the word "VASH" will receive the discounted rate of $15 for adults and $10 for youths ages 3-12. Regular price is $29.99 for adults and $19.99 for children. Admission includes access to all park grounds as well the dolphin cove show, the Hawaiian shark tank and other regular features.

The park will also feature a $6 lunch meal combo with a hot dog or hamburger, chips and soda.

A portion of the proceeds will go to VASH, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting visitors to Hawaii who have been victims of crime or other adversities. It has helped more than 25,000 visitors over the years.

Lahaina location for new office

The Maui Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing will open its new Lahaina Satellite Office on Friday.

The office is at 335 Keawe St., Suite 209. The grand opening will begin at 10:30 a.m. in front of the office.
