‘Four Sisters and a Wedding’ (NR)
The Philippine Star Cinema studio celebrates its 20th anniversary with a romantic comedy starring its most prominent young actresses, Toni Gonzaga, Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo and Shaina Magdayao. They play sisters who, when they learn that their baby brother is going to marry his girlfriend of three months, come together for the wedding and try to convince him to call it off. ‘Just Like a Woman’ (R)
Sienna Miller and Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani play a housewife and a North African immigrant, both escaping broken marriages, who take a road trip from Chicago to Santa Fe to participate in a belly dance competition. Director Rachid Bouchareb intends his indie film to be the first in a trilogy about the changing relationship between Americans and the Arab world. (At Koolau Stadium 10)
