The Hawai‘i Korean Chamber of Commerce celebrates the 12th annual Korean Festival at Kapiolani Park by kicking off on Friday night with the box office hit "Masquerade." It stars Lee Byung-hun, known for his breakout role in the K-drama "All In" and his film work in "A Bittersweet Life," "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" and "I Saw the Devil." He’s also coming into his own in Hollywood, having roles in the two "G.I. Joe" movies and "Red 2," which premieres later this month.
The screening of "Masquerade" is sponsored by KBFD and will be shown starting at 7 p.m. Friday.
The festival continues throughout the day on Saturday, complete with food booths, cultural events and a special concert by K-pop star Kim Tae-woo at 7 p.m.

"Wonderful Mama"
Episodes 11 and 12
Today, 6:30 p.m.: Both Bok-hee and Un-ok find out that the other was in their respective hometowns at the same time. Bok-hee is desperate to find Un-ok to get news of Min-soo. Young-chae starts her job in Hoon-nam’s company. She mistakenly thinks she will have a cushy job, and is sent to the fabric market instead. Hoon-nam walks out of the Angel Fund presentation when he finds out that Soo-jin’s company is running it.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Bok-hee finds Un-ok and asks her where Min-soo is. Bok-hee is disappointed, to say the least, when Un-ok tells her that her parents gave Min-soo away. Shasha starts to come around after a passionate kiss with Jum-soon and agrees to register their marriage at City Hall. Hoon-nam decides to go ahead and try to get the Angel Fund for his brother. Young-chae works on some designsof her own, only to have them rejected and thrown in the trash.
"Jang Ok Jung, Living by Love"

Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Ok-jung tells the court officials that she wishes to become the queen since she produced an heir to the throne. The present queen begs the king to spare her father’s life because she once saved the life of the crown prince.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Ok-jung force-feeds sterility-causing medicine to all the court ladies who were seen flirting with the king. Chi-soo offers to help with Queen In-hyun’s reinstatement.
"All About My Romance"

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: One year later, Soo-young and Min-young run into each other where they happen to be on blind dates. The two exchange awkward greetings. Min-young receives a package from two years ago that was lost in the mail.

Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Kyung-doo makes porridge for Yi-hyun when she gets sick. Yi-hyun remembers the day she told Kyung-doo she was pregnant. Choi Gook tells Sang-hyun he wants Coll Bio back.
