Man allegedly trips firm’s alarm
Police arrested a 53-year-old man Sunday after he apparently set off a silent alarm while allegedly trying to burglarize a Wahiawa business.
Officers responding to the alarm searched the business and found the suspect still inside.
The suspect, who does not have a local address, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary.
Teen girl found with stolen car
Police arrested a 14-year-old girl who was caught driving a stolen car in the Moiliili area.
Officers saw the girl driving the vehicle Sunday and stopped her. She was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and second-degree detaining stolen property.
Pair arrested in theft of liquor
Two people were arrested Sunday afternoon after they allegedly stole liquor from a Moiliili business.
According to police, the suspects — a 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy — took the liquor, then used force against a 73-year-old male employee as they fled the scene.
The victim refused medical treatment.
The suspects were located nearby and arrested on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
