The Hawaii chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators presented its annual Ilima awards of excellence and merit Thursday night.

The overall award of the evening, the Kau i ka Hano Award, was presented to Monica Salter, director of Bennet Group Strategic Communications, for her work on the launch of Oahu’s largest solar farm by Forest City Enterprises Inc.

The event was held at the The Signature Prime Steak & Seafood restaurant at the Ala Moana Hotel.
