Chow increases his already heavy work load
How does this work and how can we get in on it?
The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football offensive coordinator Aaron Price is neither resigning nor being fired, but he will continue to collect on his one-year contract worth $118,000 that runs through March.
Head Coach Norm Chow so far has refused to provide details about Price’s … what do you call it, departure? Whatever.
Chow did say he would be taking over the role of offensive coordinator, and that Price’s departure, or whatever you call it, will not affect "one single thing" about the Rainbow Warriors football team. Which sort of raises the question: Then why did Chow hire Price in the first place?
Whatever the details, it’s all just very strange, and another example, apparently, of UH officials thinking they can throw taxpayers’ money around like they have plenty to spare.
Maybe Steve McGarrett can solve this case
"Hawaii Five" — uh-oh.
Most of the 50th State gets to watch the islands’ marquee crime series, regardless of the fee disputes between the show’s network, CBS, and the Time Warner Cable affiliates that distribute it.
But there are 3 million cable customers in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and other cities that lost access to CBS Corp. broadcasts last weekend, and there was little sign yesterday that the blackout was going to end.
Bad news for "Five-0," glad tidings for its rival, "Castle."
