Class teaches preparation of cool meals
It’s hot enough this summer without turning on the stove or oven, and Castle Medical Center’s upcoming Eat Well for Life cooking class shows students how to prepare meals without turning up the heat.
The "Chill Out with Cool Foods" recipe lineup includes a chilled soup and other vegan dishes.
The class runs 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 22 at Castle’s wellness center. Cost is $10; register two days in advance at 263-5400 or online at castlemed.org.
