She opened the tournament by striking out 14 against an Austrian team, went the distance with eight strikeouts in a nine-inning win later in the tournament and earned wins in each of her team’s last three games.
Robinson threw four innings and went 4-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs in a 9-4 win over Caserta (Italy) on Saturday that sent Eagles to the final. Robinson came back later in the day to throw a complete game in a 4-1 victory over Sparks (Netherlands). She drove in three runs, capping the scoring with a two-run double in the top of the seventh inning.
