Fisiiahi pledges allegiance to Oregon State
Fitou Fisiiahi made his choice and says he’s sticking by Oregon State.
"One-hundred percent," the Kaiser linebacker/running back said on Wednesday night. "I’m not going to change my mind. They came here to see me. They offered me first."
Beavers defensive coordinator Mark Banker, a frequent visitor to the islands, first met Fisiiahi last fall. Banker visited the Kaiser campus again in January, and gave Fisiiahi a phone call on Wednesday.
Fisiiahi, now a 6-foot-1, 231-pound senior, also has scholarship offers from Hawaii, Nevada, Utah and Washington State. He was expected to visit USC this fall.
