Interior secretary stresses value of preserving WWII camp

U.S. Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell met Friday with an advisory committee that wants to preserve the site of the Hono­uli­uli Internment Camp. “It’s a place where you can sense and see history that is an important story to be told,” Jewell said after the meeting at the Japa­nese Cultural Center of Hawaii.
