Six Oahu Longs Drug Stores were evacuated Saturday due to bomb threats, a police dispatch supervisor said.
The calls came in from 10:54 a.m. to 1:35 p.m.
A caller, likely the same person, threatened to blow up the stores unless money was credited to an electronic funds transfer card, police dispatch said.
Police found no explosives at any of the stores, and all stores were cleared.
The threats were made to the Longs at Mililani Town Center, Mililani Market Place, Wahiawa, Kailua, Waipahu and Kahala Mall.
A manager at the Waipahu Longs said the store made an announcement that it had to close, and apologized for the inconvenience.
Shoppers were not informed that there had been a bomb threat.
He said the evacuation went fine, and management followed a policy it has in place on handling such situations.
