Crepes No Ka Oi to move, expand in Kailua
Crepes No Ka Oi will move to a larger space at 143 Hekili St. in Kailua from its current location at 131 Hekili St. by early January. The Kailua creperie will be moving into an 1,118-square-foot space, which will add about 50 percent to the current seating capacity, according to large Kailua landowner Kaneohe Ranch Co. Ltd.
Owners Chris and Rosario "Kakay"Tarvyd expect to be closed for about a week before opening in the new space, though exact dates are dependent upon permitting, utility work and contractors’ schedules, Chris Tarvyd said. It is known for its Ultimate Breakfast Crepe, made with bacon, cheese, poached egg and other ingredients, as well as its "Eiffel Tower," which includes Brie, apples and macadamia nuts, and its other savory and fruit-featuring crepes as well.
Kaneohe Ranch is renovating the building at 143 Hekili, whose previously announced tenants include Peet’s Coffee & Tea and swimwear retailer Splash! Hawaii.
