UH’s Gismervik sets school diving record
University of Hawaii diver Amund Gismervik broke new ground on Monday, setting a school record in the men’s platform dive to highlight the final day of UH’s dual meet with Arizona State and Utah at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
Aimee Harrison led the Rainbow Wahine in the women’s platform competition, winning the event with an NCAA zone-qualifying score of 227.40. Lauren Hall also had a solid showing for Hawaii, finishing second with an NCAA zone-qualifying score of 226.45.
Gismervik scored a 397.90, also a zone-qualifying score. Utah’s Josiah Purss (333.20) and Jacob Crayne (325.50) finished second and third.
