UH women finish second in fall regatta
Hawaii finished in second place in the women’s dinghy portion of the PCCSC Fall Championships in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The Rainbow Wahine came into the event as defending champions, but finished eight points behind UC Santa Barbara.
UH sailors Madeline Kennedy and Katrina Berry won the A division race for the second year in a row, and Cecilia Jansson and Louise Currie finished the B division with 40 points, good for fourth place.
On Saturday, Kennedy (fifth place) and Jansson (sixth) competed in the women’s single-handed events. For the UH men, Mackenzie Cook took seventh place and Jacob Paoletti finished 10th.
