Pegge Hopper Gallery sale features wide range of art
Work by six local artists will be featured during the Holiday Artist Sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pegge Hopper Gallery, 1164 Nuuanu Ave. in Chinatown.
On view will be original jewelry as well as metal, ceramic, mixed-media and handbag creations by Cora Yee, Daven Hee, Gene Pijanowski, Suzanne Wolfe, Kirsten Simonson and Lynda Sakraida. Host Pegge Hopper’s works will also be sold.

Mojo to wrap ‘Movember’ with free shave day Dec. 1
Mojo Barbershop & Social Club is partnering with grooming brand Harry’s in celebration of "Movember," when men around the globe grow mustaches and beards in the name of men’s health awareness.
To applaud those laying down their razors in support of the cause, Harry’s has declared Dec. 1 "National Shave Day," partnering with barbershops and boutiques across the country to give free shaves and limited-edition Harry’s razors.
Free shaves and razors must be reserved prior to Dec. 1. Space is limited to the number of razors available. Those who don’t make the cut will receive a discount on a shave that day ($30 instead of the regular $40).

Reserve your spot for the biannual Beauty Trend Show on Nov. 16 at Nordstrom, highlighting such brands as M.A.C, Bobbi Brown and Clarisonic. After the show, beauty experts will move into the cosmetics department, offering makeovers and free beauty consultations by appointment.
A Beauty Bash with DJ music and artistry stations runs 7 to 7:45 a.m., with free samples. A runway show follows at 8 a.m., with models showcasing beauty looks and products.
Cost is $20, which can be used that day toward the purchase of beauty or fragrance products.

Also at Nordstrom, Lancer Skincare representative Ferial Boukarroum offers facials, consultations and Micro Current treatments from noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 14, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 16.
