» The Kauai County Council voted Thursday to recess until Saturday to reconsider a possible override of Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr.’s override of a bill regulating pesticides and GMOs. A Friday Page A21 story gave the wrong day for when the veto hearing would resume. Also, Council Chairman Jay Furfaro said before Thursday’s meeting adjourned that he had thought the Council had the five votes needed to override. The story paraphrased him as saying he thought they had a four-vote majority to override.
