» The Play: P Scott Harding runs to the line of scrimmage as if he is going to keep the ball but then punts a line drive that goes 22 yards and hits the left shin of SDSU’s David Lamar. Jerrol Garcia-Williams recovers for UH at the SDSU 23.

» Impact: Joey Iosefa carries twice, the second time for a 5-yard touchdown, and UH takes the lead.

» Harding: "I was trying to keep it, the guy saw it and flew up the gap I wanted to run into. I didn’t really think from that point on and just kicked it."

2. Free play

» The Play: Hawaii is offsides and instead of continuing the play, the defenders temporarily freeze as San Diego State QB Quinn Kaehler throws 56 yards for a touchdown to WR Colin Lockett.

» Impact: San Diego State ties the score a 7.

» Hawaii safety John Hardy-Tuliau: "There were some mis-alignments, some breakdowns on our part. They kind of got on us a little bit, but no excuses."
