HPU, CU drop women’s hoops games

Nicole Hampton posted a game-high 29 points as the Lubbock Christian women’s basketball team thumped Hawaii Pacific 92-80 at McKinley gym on Friday.

Skye Savini led the Sea Warriors with 18 points.

Freshmen Lilia Maio and Carissa McBride led the Swords with 10 points each.

UH men’s tennis splits with UW

The University of Hawaii men’s tennis team secured two wins on the doubles court, while Washington won three singles matches on Friday at the UH Tennis Complex.

Marcel Chan was the lone UH player to win in singles as he swept Dragos Puscalau 6-2, 6-4.
