‘THOROUGHLY MODERN NICKI’: Punahou eighth-grader Nicki Lee, third from left, celebrated with her proud parents, Dr. Darrell Lee and entrepreneur Cathy Lee, and director Tony Young after she received a standing ovation for her performance in the title role of “Thoroughly Modern Millie, Junior” Nov. 23 at Punahou School. Nabors/Pyle was promoted from lance corporal to honorary sergeant during the Marine Corps’ 238th anniversary bservances in November.

‘HOME’ AT C.S. WO: Bob Wo, seated, and his wife, Betty, welcomed Linda Wong and Danny Kaleikini to “Home for the Holidays,” the Wo family’s annual pre-holiday party, Nov. 23 at the C.S. Wo &?Sons showroom. Several hundred lucky guests enjoyed the first big social event of the 2013 holiday season with food and beverage stations distributed on the first two floors of the showroom, caroling by Diamond Head Theatre’s Shooting Stars, and dazzling displays of holiday decor items.
