Mamerto "Eddie" Semana, 83, died Thursday night at the hospital. Semana was suffered severe head injuries in a Chinatown assault on Tuesday.
An 18-year-old Kapalama man was charged Thursday with murdering an 83-year-old homeless man in Chinatown last week.
R.J. Marsolo was charged with second-degree murder and third-degree assault. His bail was set $500,000.
Mamerto "Eddie" Semana died Dec. 5. He was found unconscious in Chinatown with head injuries a day earlier.
The Medical Examiner’s Office said Semana died from blunt force injuries to his head.
