After a six-week hiatus, the 2013-14 PGA Tour season resumes next week with the winners-only Hyundai Tournament of Champions at Kapalua, Maui.
Masters champion Adam Scott and PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner head a field of 30 golfers taking part in this event that had started the tour season since 1999 before the PGA began the current wrap-around format. Defending champion Dustin Johnson will be joined by 2013 two-time winners Matt Kuchar and 2012 FedEx Cup champ Brandt Snedeker, as well as 13 first-time winners, including PGA Tour rookie of the year Jordan Spieith.
Also in the field are tour standouts Zach Johnson, Bill Haas and 2012 U.S. Open winner Webb Simpson.
"The tournament is thrilled to see so many of the game’s best players return to Kapalua, and to welcome so many new faces," said Nancy Cross, executive director of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. "From major winners to first-time winners, the players in the field broke records and made history during 2013."
