Dollar-per-mile entry ends soon

The Honolulu Marathon’s special dollar-per-mile early entry fee for the Dec. 14 race ends Sunday.

The cost is $26.20 for the 26.2-mile event and limited to Hawaii residents. A limited-edition in-training shirt is available for $20 during the early signup period.

SoulTrex store closing

SoulTrex, Oahu’s only store dedicated to rock climbing and outdoor adventures, will close Jan. 31 at Windward Mall.

Owner Jacinda Elias said she and her business partners will continue their work under a non-profit arm, SoulTrex ONE: Outdoor Nature Experience.
