Blaisdell Center memories sought
January marks the 50th anniversary of the Neal Blaisdell Center. Since the arena and concert hall opened in 1964 as the Honolulu International Center — “the HIC” to most folks — the venues have hosted concerts, high school graduations, sports tournaments, boxing matches, touring musicals, craft fairs, hula competitions and more.
