UH Green wins Peter Wenner Invite

The University of Hawaii sailing team defeated 12 other boats en route to the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite regatta title Saturday and Sunday at Keehi Lagoon.

Over the two-day event, the UH Green team compiled 92 points to defeat runner-up University of Victoria (108 points). Besides the Green team, UH placed three other teams (women, third-place; black, sixth; white, ninth).

The Rainbow Wahine will compete next at the South Florida Intersectional, Feb. 15-16, and the coed team will race March 1-2 in the McIntyre Team Race in Redwood City, Calif.
