>> Nick Demusis, Mililani ’09: The Whittier (Calif.) junior forward was 9-for-17 from the field and 3-for-6 from the 3-point line to finish with 23 points in an 82-79 win over La Verne on Saturday.
>> Josiah Sukumaran, ‘Iolani ’11: The La Verne forward made all three of his shot attempts and pitched in six points and four rebounds in 13 minutes in the loss to the Poets.
>> Matt Feldman, Punahou ’10: The Baruch (N.Y.) College senior guard was a perfect 2-for-2 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line to finish with six points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 78-64 win over Wesleyan University on Sunday.
Women’s basketball
>> Lia Galdeira, Konawaena ’12: The Washington State sophomore had a game-high 17 points, six rebounds and two steals in a 70-60 win over Colorado on Friday, giving the Cougars their third victory over a ranked team this season. Washington State was 5-0 in Pac-12 play before losing 59-57 to Utah on Sunday. Galdeira did not play against the Utes due to injury.
>> Dawnyelle Awa, Konawaena ’12: The Washington State starting point guard finished with eight points, five assists, two rebounds, a steal and a block against the Buffaloes, and six points, three rebounds and an assist against Utah.
Men’s volleyball
>> Taylor Crabb, Punahou ’10: The Long Beach State senior had a team-high 12 kills, eight digs, three block assists, two aces and two solo blocks in a three-set sweep of Hawaii on Thursday. The reigning AVCA national player of the year hit .347 with 22 kills, 10 digs, two block assists and a solo block in a five-set loss to the Rainbow Warriors on Friday.
>> Josh Taylor, Punahou ’11: The Pepperdine outside hitter had a match-high 17 kills, 12 digs and four block assists in a four-set win over Southern California on Thursday.
>> Micah Christenson, Kamehameha ’11: The USC junior setter finished with 50 assists, eight digs, six kills, two block assists and two aces against the Waves.
>> Henry Cassiday, Punahou ’10: The USC senior had a match-high 21 digs, four assists and a kill in his only attempt against Pepperdine.
>> Maddison McKibbin, Punahou ’09: The USC redshirt senior had five digs and three kills against the Waves.
>> Jaylen Reyes, Kamehameha ’11: The Brigham Young junior had 11 digs and five assists in a five-set win over UC Irvine on Friday.
>> Keenan Paulos, Saint Louis ’11: The Holy Names junior had a team-high seven kills and two digs in a three-set loss to UC Santa Cruz on Saturday.
>> Mike Gomez, Maryknoll ’10: The HNU senior had six kills and six digs against UCSC.
>> Bryson-Joey Morn, Farrington ’10: The Holy Names setter had 10 assists and five digs against the Banana Slugs.
>> Chayse Nobriga-Antonio, Waipahu ’13: The Holy Names outside hitter had four kills and a block assist in his first collegiate game against UC Santa Cruz.
>> Luke Motoyama, Pearl City ’13: The HNU freshman had five digs against the Banana Slugs.
Women’s track & field
>> Joshlyn Noga, Kahuku ’11: The Charleston Southern junior placed third in the shot put with a throw of 45 feet, 2.25 inches at the Joe Hilton Invitational on Saturday. Noga placed fourth in the weight throw at 45 feet, 8 inches in the season-opening indoor meet and is currently ranked No. 1 in shot put in the Big South Conference.
>> Sophie Curatilo, Moanalua ’11: The Seattle University junior finished ninth in the indoor mile race with a personal-record time of 4 minutes, 58.83 seconds at the University of Washington’s indoor preview meet on Saturday.
Women’s gymnastics
>> Randi Lau, Thompson Academy ’11: The Penn State junior took second in the all-around in Saturday’s quad meet with a score of 39.225. She placed seventh on the vault (9.775), seventh on bars (9.775), seventh on the beam (9.8) and third on the floor exercise (9.875) to help the Nittany Lions take first.
>> Jenna Frowein, Punahou ’12: The Stanford sophomore finished seventh in the floor exercise (9.775) in a tri-meet victory over Arizona and Sacramento State on Sunday.
>> Mackenzie Sato, ‘Iolani ’10: The Cornell senior finished eighth in the floor exercise (9.725) and 18th (9.650) on bars in a quad-meet against Penn State, SE Missouri State and Illinois-Chicago on Saturday.
>> Traci Villanueva, Moanalua ’13: The Seattle Pacific freshman finished fourth on the bars (9.775) in a quad-meet on Friday.
>> Kristi Hayashida, Christian Education Institute ’13: The SPU freshman placed 16th on the beam (9.175) and 20th (9.00) on the floor exercise on Friday.
>> Tiana Montell, St. Joseph ’11: The UC Davis junior placed 15th on the beam (9.650) and 19th on both the vault (9.625) and floor exercise (9.650) in a quad-meet against Washington, Arizona State and San Jose State on Saturday.
>> Joey Ching, Punahou ’12: The Air Force sophomore placed 12th on the vault (8.775) in a loss to Texas Women’s University on Saturday.
Men’s swimming
>> Sean Terada, Kamehameha ’13: The Whitman (Wash.) freshman won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1 minute, 58.69 seconds and swam a leg on the winning 400-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay teams in a win over Puget Sound on Saturday.
>> Dane Kawamoto, Mililani ’11: The Whitman junior swam a leg on the winning 400-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relay teams and placed third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:01.55 against the Loggers.
>> Marc Okimura, Punahou ’10: The La Verne senior captured two individual titles, winning the 100-yard breaststroke event in 1 minute flat and the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:14.29 in a tri-meet against Redlands and Cal Lutheran on Friday.
Men’s wrestling
>> David Terao, Mid-Pacific ’11: The American University sophomore won both of his matches at 125 pounds by majority decision as the Eagles went 1-1 on Sunday, defeating Gardner-Webb and losing to Columbia University.
>> Zack Hernandez, Punahou ’12: The Columbia University sophomore won his match at 184 pounds by a 5-1 decision in a team victory over American University.
>> Shayden Terukina, Kamehameha ’11: The Iowa State sophomore edged out a 3-2 victory at 133 pounds in a dual-meet win over Rutgers on Friday.
