Cloudy skies and showers greeted players and fans at the Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium on Sunday afternoon as a cold front passed over Oahu.
The front is expected to stall near Maui or Hawaii island today.
An upper trough will move down near the state tonight and Tuesday with a slight chance of thunderstorms during that time, the National Weather Service said.
A high-pressure system will pass by north of the isles during the middle of the week, with tradewinds returning. But another front is expected to approach the state next weekend, with an 80 percent chance of rain Saturday.
Today will be chilly, with temperatures dropping again into the low 60s and 50s.
Clouds and passing showers will favor windward and mauka areas, the weather service said.
Meanwhile, a high-surf warning was expected to expire this morning for the north and west shores of Oahu, Kauai, Niihau, Molokai and the north shore of Maui. North Shore surf was expected to range between 25 and 30 feet but will taper off today.
A high-surf advisory remains in effect through 6 p.m. for the west shores of Hawaii island.
