USTA foundation gives HPU $15,000

Hawaii Pacific University received $15,000 from USTA Serves, the charitable foundation of the U.S. Tennis Association. The grant is part of $450,000 the foundation gave to 40 groups that "provide tennis and education to underserved youth and people with disabilities."

The grant will help HPU’s tennis teams tutor and teach tennis to "underserved youth." The goal is to help the children become more active by playing tennis, and improve academics and study habits.
