UH water polo wins second straight
The sixth-ranked University of Hawaii water polo team scored six goals in the first quarter en route to a 20-2 victory over Cal State East Bay on Friday in Hayward, Calif.
Ten players found the net for the Rainbow Wahine (2-0), including Danielle Lewis and Chloe Barr four times each.
Next up for Hawaii is the Stanford Invitational that begins today. Hawaii will take on UC Irvine and Stanford.
Baseball game tickets on sale Monday
Single-game tickets for University of Hawaii baseball go on sale Monday. Tickets in the lower and mid-level areas are $12, while upper-level adult tickets are $10. Upper-level senior citizens (65 and over) are $6 and students (ages 4 through high school) are $4.
UH Manoa students receive free admission by showing a valid identification card. Fans can select their seats online by going to www.hawaiiathletics.com.
The Rainbow Warriors open the season with a four-game series against Oregon on Feb. 14-17 at Les Murakami Stadium.
Morrison leads UH at Washington Invite
Kaleigh Morrison placed sixth in the pentathlon on Friday at the University of Washington Invitational. She set personal bests in total points (3,487), 60-meter hurdles (9.09), long jump (18-3.25/5.57m) and 800 meters (2:36.65).
Teammates Kayla Kirk (17th overall in pentathlon), Robyn Morioka (first in pole vault), Cecilia Durocher (second in pole vault) and Rachel Toliver (15th in 200-meter dash) also competed for UH.
