Sarah Jessica Parker’s new line to debut exclusively at Nordstrom

Sarah Jessica Parker was known for her Manolo Blahniks while playing Carrie Bradshaw on "Sex and the City." The actor has since turned to producing her own fashion and shoe line, and the SJP Collection by Sarah Jessica Parker will launch exclusively in Nordstrom stores and on nordstrom.com Feb. 28.

The collection of shoes, handbags and a trench coat is inspired by Parker’s childhood, design heroes and favorite New York haunts.

Shoe prices will range from $195 to just under $500. Handbags will retail from $245 to $375.

Show, benefit with artist Werner celebrate art@town anniversary

Town restaurant is marking the ninth anniversary of art@town with artist Kimi Werner and a fundraiser for Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii and Malama Pupu­kea-Wai­mea.

The opening reception for Werner’s "A Closer Look" series of paintings, and "Tread Lightly," a benefit collaboration between Werner and VANS shoes, will take place at 10 p.m. Friday.

All shoe sales from the "Tread Lightly" exhibition will benefit the two environmental protection organizations.

The show will continue to the end of the month. Town is at 3435 Wai­alae Ave. on the corner of 9th Avenue. Call 735-5900.
