An "Elegance in Paradise" luncheon and fashion show with designs by Keiji Tagawa and Kensei Takeda will cap the three-day Women’s Leadership Summit, Feb. 13-15 at the Sheraton Waikiki.
The luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 15, with a boutique sale featuring more than 25 vendors from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The summit, presented by the Japanese Women’s Society Foundation, brings together women of all ages, occupations and interests to promote leadership, mentoring and networking. It kicks off Feb. 13 with a reception.
Feb. 14’s daylong slate of events features panels on challenges in the boardroom, finding balance in life and making a difference in the world. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is penciled in as keynote speaker, depending on her availability. Other speakers include Royanne Doi, an executive with Prudential Financial in Japan; Hawaii Supreme Court Associate Justice Sabrina McKenna; Kyoko Kimura, managing director of Hotel Wailea and Maui Beach Hotel; and Phyllis Campbell, an executive with JPMorgan Chase.
Registration deadline is Friday. Three-day summit packages start at $400; tickets for the luncheon and fashion show only are $100 and $125.
