Rainbow Wahine sailing team takes fifth
The Hawaii women’s sailing team recorded a fifth-place finish at the USF Intersectional, held Saturday through Sunday by the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, Fla.
In 12 races in each of the A and B divisions, UH finished with 184 points.
The College of Charleston won the regatta by 13 points with a total of 110 points.
For UH, Madeline Kennedy and Katrina Berry totalled 70 points in the A division, while Cecilia Jansson and Louise Currie finished with 114 points in the B division.
The Rainbow Wahine are off until the Navy Intersectional in Annapolis, Md., March 8-9.
