The Honolulu Star-Advertiser, monster.com and Alternate Energy will host the Hawaii Career Expo on April 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. The event is free for the first 1,000 who preregister online at HawaiiCareerExpo.com and who are dressed in business attire. There will also be a drawing at the Star-Advertiser booth for a free trip for two to Las Vegas, sponsored by Vacations Hawaii.
More than 80 exhibitors from a variety of industries will be present at the Career Expo, including travel and tourism, banking, sustainability, health care, automotive, city and county government, retail and more. The event will feature career and personal development workshops to help job seekers with resume writing, interviewing and other skills.
