Man arrested in alleged vacuum attack
A 53-year-old Ewa Beach man was arrested Friday after he allegedly injured a woman with a vacuum cleaner in Pearl City.
Police said the man became angry during an argument with the woman about 10 a.m. Jan. 24 and struck her arm with an upright vacuum cleaner several times, causing substantial injury. Officers arrested the man on Lehua Avenue at 9 p.m. for investigation of second-degree assault.
Woman is knocked out during argument
Police arrested a 28-year-old man after he allegedly knocked out a woman during an argument Friday night in Kaneohe.
As the argument escalated, the Kaneohe man struck the 23-year-old woman, causing her to lose consciousness about 11 p.m., police said.
Officers arrested the man at the Kaneohe Zippy’s for investigation of second-degree assault.
Suspect accused of burglary and assault
Police on Thursday arrested a 65-year-old man accused of injuring a woman during a burglary in Kaimuki.
The man went into the 41-year-old woman’s home without permission about 8:45 p.m. March 14 and grabbed her while holding a sharp object, police said.
The woman sustained cuts to her chest, arms and neck. The man fled the scene, but was later identified.
Police arrested the man about 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
