The co-headliner (along with the High Roller observation wheel) of the center-Strip Linq development has opened. The Brooklyn Bowl is a 78,000-square-foot multilevel bar, restaurant, bowling alley and live-music venue at the center of The Linq. It’s only the third Brooklyn Bowl in the world, along with London and the original in New York City. The dining component features another New York transplant, the Blue Ribbon Restaurant, famous for its fried chicken. The Bowl is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and until 4 a.m. on weekends, with multiple concert events scheduled every week.

Linq overflow: If you decide to visit the Brooklyn Bowl, or just The Linq in general, the best play for parking is the new overflow lot behind the big wheel. There’s no charge, and the lot provides direct access to The Linq’s pedestrian alley. It also provides an incredible view of the High Roller.

Cupcake ATM: Also at The Linq, Las Vegas’ first "Cupcake ATM" has opened at the new Sprinkles Cupcakes shop. The vending machine is open 24 hours and holds up to 600 cupcakes.

Boulud is back: Acclaimed chef Daniel Boulud, whose brasserie at Wynn Las Vegas closed in 2010, will soon be back on the Strip. The new DB Brasserie was originally planned to open at the Venetian last year but is now set for a May debut.

$6 Movies: Movie tickets are $6 on Tuesdays at Green Valley Ranch and Fiesta Henderson, both off the Strip. The offer is good all day and for all movies except 3-D features.
